Its features include:

  • Free maintenance upgrades and version releases*, and the ability to transfer licenses should you need to.
  • Priority technical support with online access to our dedicated engineers via email.
  • Guaranteed one business day response time. In practice, response times will be within a few hours. Engineers are available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Mountain Time, except holidays.

JNBridgePro Deployment Maintenance

When purchasing JNBridgePro deployment licenses, you may wish to be able to keep your runtime deployments up-to-date with free maintenance upgrades or version releases* and the ability to transfer licenses should you need to. Deployment maintenance also includes level 2 technical support: we will assist your developers in resolving JNBridgePro-related issues for your deployment licenses. JNBridge does not provide direct technical support to your application end-users.

Support and Maintenance is an annual, fee-based program. If you do not choose this option and later decide that you need to upgrade, you will have the option of either (1) paying the then-current support and maintenance fee retroactively to the date of license acquisition, or (2) paying full price for new licenses.

*  Maintenance Upgrades and Version Releases

A maintenance upgrade generally will incorporate error corrections, bug fixes, and perhaps minor improvements to the software. Maintenance releases are represented by a change in the third position of a release number, such as from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1.

Version releases may incorporate error corrections, bug fixes, and enhancements. Version releases are represented by a change in the second position of a release number, such as the "2" in 1.2 or 1.2.1.

Major releases are a paid upgrade from the previous version that include a substantial number of product enhancements, new features, and additional capabilities. Major releases are represented by a change in the initial position of a release number, such as jumping from 1.3.2 to 2.0. Free major release upgrades are not included in product support and maintenance plans, however JNBridge may elect to offer substantial upgrade discounts to existing customers.
