JNBridgePro LicensingJNBridgePro has four different license types, described below: Trial, Developer, Desktop Deployment and Server Deployment. JNBridgePro is available in two different editions: SE (Standard Edition) and EE (Enterprise Edition). Please see the software license for details. Do you plan to distribute JNBridgePro Deployment Components to third parties, either to external end users or as an OEM part of your application? Contact us for special pricing and licensing information. Trial LicenseA Trial License is the full-featured product, available for evaluation purposes for a period of 30 days. After 30 days, both the developer and deployment components of JNBridgePro will stop working unless a license key is obtained. Any proxies generated during the evaluation period will continue to work when a commercial license is obtained. During the trial period you can toggle between the JNBridgePro SE and JNBridgePro EE feature sets. Developer LicenseA Developer License allows you to install and use the development and deployment components of JNBridgePro to generate and test Java/.NET proxies on one machine. Deployment LicenseA Deployment License allows you to distribute and install the runtime components of JNBridgePro to end users, on one .NET desktop or server machine per license. Please note that we charge per .NET machine — therefore the number of Java machines is not limited. A Server Deployment License is required on Windows Server machines. A Server Deployment License is also required in architectures where the interop component of your application awaits and fulfills requests from a headless client process or processes which serve multiple users. For example, an ASP.NET application that bridges to a Java backend would need a server deployment license. Additional examples would be a Citrix application, or an application server deployment strategy where the hardware is servicing multiple end-users. A Desktop Deployment License is used in architectures where the interop component of your application resides on single-user desktop computer. For example, a WinForms client application that bridges to a Java backend would need a desktop deployment license. Purchasing a JNBridgePro deployment license requires the concurrent or previous purchase of a development license of the same edition (SE or EE) as the deployment license. This is to ensure that the proxies to be deployed were produced by a validly licensed version of JNBridgePro. |
